Kay and Scoit Raniiey have been awarded the Billings Chamber of Commerce Yard of the Month for July. The Ranneys take pride in seasonally changing their yard decorations making it a delightful yard to enjoy all year round. The yard is beautifully maintained by their son Doug Ramiey and his wife Julia (pictured).

I’ve been following strict low-carb for the past two weeks or so. I’ve managed to lose about 14 pounds so far. The first 10 always seems to come off fast but it’s much slower after that. I’ve been drinking a low-carb shake twice a day now and eat a sensible dinner. I was really hungry the first couple of days, but now my body has gotten used to it so I’m not nearly as hungry.

Jerry and Christi Hook presented the Marilyn Hook memorial scholarship of $500 to Charity Mendiola.

Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) broke ground this week on their new addition. The Tech Center is adding on nearly 21,000 square feet intending to bring their Culinary Arts program to new standards and joining their Cosmetology program to the current building. Additionally a multifunctional space serving as a Conference Center and a campus Severe Weather Refuge will accommodate larger groups and provide a safe space for campus personnel, visitors and students.
