The Tonkawa Alumni Association is conducting a fund drive for the 2019 weight room project for Buccaneer athletics, president David Fruits said this week. Make checks payable to the Tonkawa Alumni Association, P.O. Box 12, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
The IOOF Cemetery is in need of donations to continue operation of the cemetery, Garry Davis announced this week. Brent Bailey is caretaker. Donations can be sent to P.O. Box 121 with checks made to the Tonkawa Cemetery for upkeep.
The McCarter Museum is open from 1:00-3:00 p.m.Thursday and 4-6 Frdays. Other times for tours or visiting may be made by calling (580) 761-7576 or any of the numbers listed on the door. Visitors are always welcome.
