City Business Has Big Gain In Fiscal Year
Tonkawa did $235,088.00 and Kay county did $4,016, 165 more business for the fiscal year 1952-53 than for the 1951-52 fiscal year, the Oklahoma Tax Commission revealed today.
For the period July 1, 1952, to June 30, 1953, Tonkawa firms paid $70,699.05 in sales tax, compared to $65,997.28 the previous year. That was a tax gain of $4,701.77 representing a dollar business gain of $235,088.50.
Kay county paid $1,003.743.67 in sales taxes in 1952-53, compared to $923,420.37 in 1951-52, a sales tax gain of $80,323.30.
