The Tonkawa Fire Department responded to 15 ambulance calls transporting 13, and 3 fire calls during the past week. James Jacobs and Colby Shultz will be finishing Advanced EMT Class next week increasing our EMS Capabilities!

City takes applications for ward 4 council seat

Councilman Scott Klufa recently moved outside of the City Limits of Tonkawa and can no longer serve on the City Council. Scott represented Ward 4. Vacancies on the City Council are filled by an appointment by the four remaining City Councilmembers.

Award winners announced for chamber’s 106th banquet slated for Thursday, Jan. 20

On Thursday, January 20, 2022, the Chamber will host our annual awards ceremony and 106th annual banquet. It will be held at Northern Oklahoma College in the Renfro Center, Tonkawa, Oklahoma, 6-8 p.m. Meal will be served at 7:00 p.m. with the awards ceremony following.
