The Ponca City Gospel Jubilee will reopen following the Holidays with featured guest “Carolyn Rickner”, Carloyn has been a featured guest throughout the years at the Jubilee and the audience always enjoys here sincere mission to lift up the Lord in song and testimony. Carolyn brings a southern gospel style of music accompanied by a beautiful voice as well as a down to earth personality. Carolyn is a recording artist as well as an active pastor of the Upward Call Ministries in Blackwell Oklahoma. Following Carlon Rickner will be the Jubilee band with talented musicians and singers. Northern Tonkawa sponsors May 2022 trip to Europe

The Gateway to the Humanities program at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, part of NOC’s extensive Global Education opportunities, is sponsoring a May 2022 trip to the Alps, with an itinerary including stops and sites in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

City takes applications for ward 4 seat

Councilman Scott Klufa recently moved outside of the City Limits of Tonkawa and can no longer serve on the City Council. Scott represented Ward 4. Vacancies on the City Council are filled by an appointment by the four remaining City Councilmembers.
