The Military Veterans Committee of the Tonkawa Alumni Association recently added 22 names to the military panels at the Event Center as well as their website. A donation made in honor of Bill Burns made it possible to print the new panels. Bill is an honored military veteran with the United States Army. This ongoing project began in 2012, when the Military Veterans Committee was formed. Over the last 12 years, interviews of Tonkawa Veterans done by Mike Schatz and John Legg have been collected and are being added to two scrapbooks, which will be placed in the Tonkawa High School Library with assistance from Misty Bess, Librarian.
