The Tonkawa Fire Department responded to 24 ambulance calls transporting 13, and 7 fire calls during the past week. Recent rains will do little to slow fire spread with the dormant vegetation. Burn Ban is in effect for Kay County thru 10-31-22
The McCarter Museum is open from 2-4 p.m. each Thursday and Friday and from 1-3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Other times for tours or visiting may be made by calling (580) 761-7576. Several other contacts are posted on the door of the museum. Several areas in the museum have been redecorated and there are several new displays to enjoy.

Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
