A festive Ladies Night Out event in Tonkawa, “Glass and a Glass!” is set for 6:30, Thursday, Nov. 10 to benefit Heart in the Park’s beautification and landscaping campaign. “Glass and a Glass!” participants will create an original fused glass holiday tree ornament and learn about the art of fused glass while enjoying drinks, savory appetizers and sweet bites from outstanding Tonkawa businesses and restaurants. According to event planner Audrey Schmitz, additional highlights of the evening include a variety of silent auctions, and wine enthusiasts will enjoy participating in a “Wine-Grab” experience and take home a mystery bottle of vino!“Glass and a Glass!” event sponsors include China Restaurant, Mary’s Grill, Simple Simon’s Pizza, Venture Foods, Crazy Al’s Liquor, First National Bank, Gateway First Bank, Frames & Things, and many friends of Heart in the Park.Tickets are $40 per person and are available in Tonkawa at Chamber of Commerce (580-628-2200) and Frames & Things (580-628-3400) or text 405-880-2827 to secure reservations.
