Dawn McGaha and Travis Parker tie for first and win $8.50 each in the weeklyFootball Contest this week.Third and $3 goes to Martha Parker. All three submitted perfect entries and so it came down to the tie-breaker.McGaha and Travis Parker were each 21 points off and split first and second place money. McGaha picked the Bucs to win 42-6 and Parker 28-20. The actual final score was 27-0.Martha Parker picked the Bucs to win 34-23, 34 points off the final score.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
