Travis Parker wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest this week.Second and $7 goes to Morgan Romero. Third and $3 goes to Shelly Martin. Parker was the lone entry to miss two games. Several missed three games this week with all the upsets. So it came down to the tie-breaker to decide the winners. Romero was closest on the tie-breaker, picking the Bucs to win 42-21, 14 off the actual 46-31 win. Martin was 15 off, picking the Bucs by a 42-20 margin.Others who missed three games but who were further off on the tie-breaker included shayla Jaurequi, Mark Martin, Tracy Summers, Marissa, Cochanna and Martha Parker and Dawn McGaha.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition. Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.Winners are urged to pick up their cash at the office, 126 E.
