Travis Parker of Tonkawa wins the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest this week and gets $10.Second and $7 goes to Dawn McGaha. Third and $3 goes to Shelly Martin.Parker submitted the lone entry missing just one game on the contest.Several missed two. McGaha wins second based on her tiebreaker score on the Tonkawa-Mounds game of 42-0, just 25 points off the actual 61-6 win. Martin picked the Bucs to win 3810, just 27 points off.Others who missed two games but were farther off on the tiebreaker included Janette Martin and Mike Smith.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition. Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.Winners are urged to pick up their cash at the office, 126 E.
