Tracy Summers of Tonkawa wins the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest this week and gets $10.Second and $7 goes to Travis Parker of Tonkawa. Summers and Parker both missed one game on the contest and the tie-breaker decided who got first. Summers picked Tonkawa to beat Perry 21-7, 39 points off the actual 59-6 Buc victory. Parker picked the Bucs to win 28-17, 42 points off.Third place also came down to the tie-breaker. Dawn McGaha wins third and $3 for being closes to the score with a guess of 28-12, 37 points off. She and two others also missed two games on the contest.Shelly Martin and Mark Martin also just missed two, but were farther off on the tie-breaker. Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition. Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
