Tonkawa’s Class 2A cross country team finished 11th in the state championship meet held at Shawnee Saturday, Oct. 26.
The top ten schools included Watonga, Hooker, cherokee, Boise City, Waurika, Ryan, Merritt, Balko, Konawa and Warner.

Hannah Haley, 30th in 13:58.56.
Heidi Hembree, 55th in 14:48.51.
Brooklyn Day, 62nd in 14:59.30.
Rachel Means, 79th in 15:16.24.
Karlee Jacobs, 92nd in 15:52.14.
Kaedyn Warrior, 96th in 16:03.62.
Emily Hale, 115th in 16:57.85.
Haley and Hale are juniors and the rest are freshmen, so the entire team will be back next season.’
