Ten members of the Tonkawa Bucs football team have received all-district honors from District A-3 Coaches.Noah Campbell, senior linebacker, receiver Defensive Most Valuable Player of the league.Players of the year by position won by Tonkawa players follow:Running back of the year -- Roman Chandler, junior.Defensive lineman of the year -- Jake Morgan, seniorOutside linebacker of the year -- Kai Day, seniorKicker of the year -- Brendan Ochoa, senior.All-district honors by position went to the following Tonkawa players:-- Miccael Brown, senior, offensive line-- Dante Mendoza, senior, defensive lineman.-- Dominic Grein, sophomore, defensive lineman-- Luke Shepherd, sophomore, linebacker-- Jake Randall, senior, defensive secondaryThe Bucs finished second in District A-3 for the second year in a row and were 9-3 overall and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Class A state championship playoffs.
