Shelly Martin of Tonkawa wins the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest this week and gets $10.Second and $7 goes to Marissa Parker. Third and $3 goes to Mark Martin. All three winners missed just two games. Martin was closest on the tie-breaker, picking the Bucs to beat OK Union 55-7, just four points off the actual 52-6 outcome.Parker was 8 off, picking the Bucs 46-8 and Mark Martin was 11 off, picking Tonkawa to win 5415.Others who missed two games but were farther off on the tie-breaker included Dawn McGaha, Mike Smith and Peggy Neeley.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
