Shelly Martin of Tonkawa wins first and $10 in the Weekly
Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Tracy Summers of Tonkawa. Third place and $3 goes to Chuck Neeley of Tonkawa.
Martin was the lone entry that missed only one game.
Summers and Neeley were among several who missed two games. summers picked the Bucs over Drumright 42-0, 20 points off the actual 62-0 score. Neeley picked the Bucs to win 40-0, 22 points off.
Others who missed two games but were farther off on the tiebreaker included Travis Parker, Martha Parker and Mike Smith.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
