Shayla Jaurequi wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest this week.Second and $7 goes to Marissas Parker. Third and $3 goes to Shelly Martin. Jaurequi was the lone perfect entry. Parker and Martin each missed one game. Parker was closest on the tie-breaker, picking the Bucs to win 38-14, 44 off the actual 8-0 win. Martin picked the Bucs 42-14, 48 off.Entrants are reminded to circle their winners along the right side of the contest. Two entries failed to circle any picks.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
