The seventh and eighth grade midhi football teams split with Pawnee Monday night, the seventh grade winning 22-8 and the eighth grade losing 8-26.The eighth grade is 2-3 on the season, the seventh is 1-2 and the sixth grader is 1-0.The midhi Bucs host Newkirk here next Monday at 4:30 p.m.Asher Saluderis scored all three seventh grade touchdowns from 51, 62 and 120 yards away. Bodie Swords ran over two two point conversions.Pawnee’s lone TD came in the final two minutes of the ball game.The eighth graders got their one TD on a 10 yard run midway through the second quarter from Kace Tautfest, who also ran for the two point cconversion.That narrowed the gap 8-12, but the Black Bears added three more touchdowns. They led 20-8 at halftime.Kade Ditmore and Keavin Medina covered fumbles for the eighth graders in the game.
