Peggy Neeley wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Marissa Parker. Third place and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha. Neeley was the lone perfect entry this week. Parker only missed one.McGaha was among four who missed two. She was closest on the tie-breaker, picking Fairview to beat Hooker 30-27, just one point off the final 30-28 outcome.Others missing two but farther off on the tie-breaker included Martha Parker, tracy Summers and Mark Martin.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third. Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
