Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, and shad around channels, main lake, and river channel. White bass fair on Alabama rigs, jigs, minnows, and plastic baits around creek channels, river channel, rocks, and sandbar. Comments: White bass are being caught in the Spring and Neosho rivers; the cold front stalled the bite, however with the warmer days coming water temps should increase and assist with the run. Crappie good on grubs, hair jigs, jigs, live bait, minnows, small lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, creek channels, riprap, and standing timber. Paddlefish good snagging below the dam and river channel. Comments: White bass males making early runs up the Arkansas and Beaver Creek arms. Crappie starting in the creeks.
