Hollynn Randall of Tonkawa was among six area young basketball players working on skills at the Northern Oklahoma College Girls’ Basketball Camp for Grades 1-3 June 10-12.
NOC Lady Mavs Head Coach Greg Krause, aided by former Lady Mav Haley Curfman of Blackwell, directed the day camp at Tonkawa.
According to Krause, the focus was on introducing basic skills such as dribbling, passing, defensive and varied offensive skills. Lowered goals were used to teach shooting fundamentals.
On the final day, campers demonstrated their skills for their parents. Each girl received a T-shirt, a regulation size basketball and a certificate of completion.
Others attending the camp were Payzlyn Armstrong, Anslee Neale , and Hope Sinor of Ponca City;
