Janet Moreno scored three goals leading the #19 Northern Oklahoma College Mavericks routed Murray State 7-0 Thursday afternoon in Tonkawa.The Mavs’ women are 4-0 on the season.NOC scored jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead and were never threatened by Murray State. Milica Bulatovic scored two goals while Corey Torres and Josie Jarvis had one each.Jordan Webster and Jamie Rowlands combined to make seven saves in goal earning the shut out.NOC out shot Murray 23-9.“First off I want to give respect to Coach Akin and his team for playing,” said coach Michael Du-Roy. “A lot of teams would have asked to postpone the game. They showed a lot of courage coming out of quarantine and playing us.”“It wasn’t our best game,” he added. “Oddly enough I thought we played better in the second half. I’m sure part of that was that Murray was tired and didn’t chase as hard. We made a ton of little mistakes that will get us beat against the teams we have coming up on our schedule.”
