Northern Oklahoma College Maverick athletes earned a 3.31 GPA for the fall semester, according to NOC Athletic Director Jeremy Hise.
NOC Tonkawa sports include men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, cheer, softball, and baseball.
The highest GPA was earned by women’s soccer with a 3.56 while baseball earned a 3.54. Six of the seven programs earned above a 3.00 GPA.
“Congratulations to all of our student-athletes who have put in the hard work in the classroom,”
Hise said. Also, congratulations to all of our coaches for encouraging and motivating our student-athletes.”
“This was our highest since I have been athletic director and I couldn’t be prouder of our student-athletes and coaches,” Hise added.
The previous high for campus GPA was 3.21.
Hise added that several programs have a chance to be top 10 in the nation or possibly compete for an Academic National Championship if the students maintain these grades in the spring semester.
