ENID, Oklahoma -- The NOC Mavs rallied late in the Region 2 Finals but fell short to South Ark Community College 10-7 in Enid on Monday.The Mavs ended their season at 42-19.NOC got off to a rough start against the Stars as South Ark built a 5-1 lead after four innings and then added five in the 7th to lead 10-1.The Mavs, as they have done all year, battled back, scoring six runs over the final three innings but fell just short.Larry Edwards, Jr. hit a solo shot in the 7th to cut the Stars’ lead to 10-2.Ethan Rossi then homered in the 8th cutting the lead to 10-3.In the 9th, the Mavs weren’t done as the Mavs loaded the bases with no one out.
