Northern athletic reunion due Friday
NOC is hosting a Northern Oklahoma Junior College Athletic Reunion Friday, Oct. 25.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. in the Glass room in the Memorial Student Union.
NOJC alums will be served lunch and then participate in campus tours in the afternoon.
Approximately 25 alums are expected to attend.
Lady Mavs host free clinic Sunday
The Northern Oklahoma College Lady Mavs basketball team is hosting a free basketball clinic Sunday, Oct. 27 at Foster-Piper Fieldhouse on the NOC campus from 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The clinic, for grades K-5, is hosted by the NOC Lady Mavs players and coaches.
Bring shoes and workout clothes.
There will be individual and group work on dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding, and defense.

Free flu shots are being given
The Kay County Health department will be giving flu shots at both county locations -- Ponca City and Blackwell. In Ponca City, they will be given Mondays-Thursdays 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. In Blackwell at 1706 S. October 31, 2019, there will be a Trick or Treat Festival & Trick or Treat Fair: It will be downtown 4-5 p.m. The costume contest will be at 5:00 p.m. at the Heart in the Park Labyrinth, then 5-7 p.m. at N.O.C.
My Friend’s Closet Drop Off
Tonkawa Elementary School will be doing My Friend’s Closet again this year. This program is a fall/winter clothing drive designed to clothe families in our community.
