Tonkawa has a new Class A district for 2020-21.
The proposed districts by the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association was presented to the board of the OSSAA Wednesday, Jan. 15 and received final approval.
The Bucs will be in District A-3 for the next two years in football.
The seven members of the district include Tonkawa, OBA, Cashion, Crescent, Oklahoma Christian Academy, Watonga and Hinton.
Tonkawa was formerly in A-5 which included Pawhuska, Hominy, Morrison, Pawnee, Woodland, Barnsdall and Drumright.
Pawhuska stays in district 5, but other members include Afton, Commerce, Fairland, Ketchum, OK Union, Quapaw and Wyandotte.
Hominy, Morrison, Pawnee and Woodland move to district six with Caney Valley, Chelsea and Chouteau-Mazie.
Barnsdall and Drumright drop to eight man, class B.
Barnsdall will be in District 7 with Covington, Garber, Olive, Pioneer and Yale. Drumright will be in district eight with Davenport, Depew, Foyil, Prue and Regent Prep.
DCLA will be in district 3, class C, with Bluejacket, Copan, Medford, South Coffeyville, Timberlake, Welch and Wesleyan Christian.
Ponca City will remain in Class 6A-II in district two with Bartlesville, Bixby, Booker T. Washington, Choctaw, Muskogee, putnam City West and Sand Springs.
Blackwell, Newkirk and Perry will be in District 2A-1 with Alva, Chisholm, Hennessey, Luther and Oklahoma Christian School. Blackwell moves from 3A to 2A.
