Mike Smith of Tonkawa wins first and $10 in the Weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Peggy Neely. Third and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.
Smith was the lone entry to miss only two games. Three others tied with three misses. Neely wins second because she was closest to the tie-breaker. She picked OU to win 38-28, 16 points off the actual 34-16 Sooner win. McGaha was 30 points off, picking OU 42-38. Chuck Neely was 44 points off picking OU 52-42.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
