Football contest
Mike Smith of Tonkawa wins first and $10 in the Weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Shelly Martin of Tonkawa. Third place and $3 goes to Travis Parker of Tonkawa.
Smith was the lone entry to miss just one game. Martin and Parker both missed three games. Martin picked the Bucs to beat Pawhuska 24-18. Tonkawa lost 48-7, 47 points off. Parker picked the Bucs 34-27, 48 points off.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
