Mavs 91, New Mexico 66
The Mavs bolted out to an early lead and cruised past #18 New Mexico in Day 2 of the NOC Enid
Jets Classic.
NOC led 43-33 at half and immediately went on an 8-0 run to start the second half building a 51-33 lead.
The closest New Mexico would come was 74-67 in the second half.
“Our game versus #18 New Mexico was a quality win,” said coach Donnie Jackson. “They are a team that can really hurt you on the glass. We will have to rebound and take care of the ball if we want any chance of winning. I’d love to see a great crowd on that evening.”
NOC shot 57 percent from the field (37/63) and 50 percent from 3-point range (7/14). New
Mexico shot just 42 percent from the floor and 25 percent from 3-point range.
