Martha Parker wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Mike Smith.Third place and $3 goes to Tracy Summers.Parker submitted the lone entry with only one miss. Smith had the only entry with two misses.There were two with three misses each. Summers wins third because she guessed the score of the Tonkawa-Perry game at 35-10, 25 points off the actual final 12-13 score. Marissa Parker picked the Bucs to win 42-14, 31 points off.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
