Martha Parker wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Peggy Neeley. Third and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.
Parker submitted the lone perfect entry. Neeley and McGaha both missed one contest game. Neeley was closest on the tiebreaker game between Tonkawa and Watonga. Neeley picked the Bucs, 35-14, 13 points off the actual final of 41-7. McGaha picked Tonkwa 30-14, 16 points off.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
