Mark Martin wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.Second and $7 goes to Chuck Neeley.Third place and $3 goes to Tracy Summers.Martin and Neeley were the lone entries to just miss one game. Martin won first because his tiebreaker score on the Buc-Crescent game was the closest. He picked Tonkawa to win 23-15, just 11 off the final 25-6 official outcome. Neeley was 13 off with a 20-14 guess.Several missed two games. Summers was closest on the tie-breaker, just 11 off with a 28-14 guess.Others who missed two games but who were farther off included Peggy Neeley, Travis Parker, Shelly Martin and Dawn McGaha.Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week during the regular season.Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score.
