Mark Martin wins first and gets $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Shelly Martin.
Third place and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.
Both Martins submitted perfect entries. Mark was closest to the tie-breaking, picking Pawnee 26-21 over Thomas, 22 points off the final 35-34 win.
McGaha was among several who missed one game, but she was only eight off the final score with a 35-28 guess.
Others missing one but farther off on the tie-breaker included Martha and Travis Parker.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
