Mark Martin wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Dayna Sheets. Third and $3 goes to Chuck Neeley.
Martin and Sheets submitted perfect entries. Martin was only 27 points off the tie-breaker between Perry and Tonkawa. He guessed a Buc win by 26-12. The Bucs lost 39-26. Sheets was 31 points off picking Tonkawa 28-10.
Several missed only one game. Neeley was closest on the tiebreaker, picking the Bucs 24-7, beating out shelly Martin and Martha Parker.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
