Mark Martin of Tonkawa wins first and $10 in the Weekly
Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Tracy Summers. Third and $3 goes to
Dawn McGaha.
This was the final regular season contest for 2019 and included bowl games.
There were four entries who missed just one game in the Holiday Football Contest.
Martin was first. He was 24 points off the OU-LSU game score with a guess of 31-42. The actual score was 28-63.
Summers was 25 points off with a 24-42 guess. McGaha was 34 points off with a 21-36 guess. The only other entry who missed one was Mike Smith, who was 38 points off with a 34-31 guess.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
