Tonkawa Lady Buc softballers improved to 9-7 on the year with wins over Caney Valley and Nowata last week.
The girls were to play at Drumright Tuesday night.
Next Tuesday, Sept. 15, there will be Midhi and high school softball at home with senior night
between the two games.
On Tuesday, Sept. 1, Tonkawa beat Caney Valley 11-6 and on Thursday, Sept. 3, the Lady Bucs defeated Nowata 13-10.
This Thursday through Saturday, the Lady Bucs will be in the Chisholm softball tournament.

Alyssa Pando scored three runs, Sarah Sherron and Morgan Hall two each and Kenzie Glenny, Jaci Johnson, Rylee Hampton and Autumn Roberts one each.
Rylee Hampton doubled in the game.
Johnson had four RBI’s, Jules Thompson two and Kenzie Glenny, Skylee Perkins, Sarah Sherron one each.
Pando stole a base.
Taylor Mercer pitched, striking out three.

Johnson, Thompson and Hall scored three runs each, Pando, Perkins, Sherron and Hampton one each in the win.
Sherron had three RBI’s, Mercer and Kira Pendleton two each and Hampton one. Johnson stole a base.
Glenny, Johnson, Mercer, Sherron, Hampton and Pendleton each singled twice each. Thompson had one.
Mercer pitched, striking out five.
