Tonkawa Lady Buc fast pitch softballers dropped their season opener Monday night 1-13 to district rival OK Union.
Morgan Hall scored the lone run for the Lady Bucs. Jaci Johnson (2), Sarah Sherron, Morgan Hall and Kira Pendleton all singled for Tonkawa. Pendleton picked up the RBI.
Taylor Mercer drew mound duty for the Lady Bucs, pitching five innings and striking out five.
Tonkawa was to host Drumright Tuesday and will play at home Thursday vs. Pawhuska with first pitch at 4:30 p.m. They will go to Pawhuska next Monday, Aug. 17 and host Nowata here at 4:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Aug. 18.
