Tonkawa Lady Buc fast pitch softball has finished their 2021 season.Head Coach Kelsey Smith said, “The team learned and improved a lot. Faced a lot of adversity throughout a tough season with good character and a lot of hard work. “The Lady Bucs end the year with three wins and 25 losses.Their final two ball games were played last Monday and Tuesday, losing to Blackwell 0-8 and to Pawhuska 0-1.Blackwell 8 Tonkawa 0Kira Pendleton hit a double and a single and Stevee Osborn hit two singles in the effort.Jaci Johnson pitched, striking out seven.Pawhuska 1 Tonkawa 0In a close one until the very final innings, the Lady Bucs dropped a 0-1 decision to Pawhuska.Stevee Osborn singled twice while Kenzie Glenny, Jules Thompson, Rylee Hampton, Maddy Randall and Kira Pendleton each had one.Hampton, Osborn and Randall all had stolen bases.Johnson drew mound duty all seven innings, striking out 10.
