Tonkawa Buc basketball teams swept a doubleheader vs. DCLA Friday night during senior night festivities.
The Lady Bucs won 57-8 and the Buc boys won 57-49.
Both teams were to play at Alva Tuesday night.
They will be at Blackwell Friday, Feb. 5.
Homecoming will be Tuesday, Feb . 9 vs. Newkirk here at the Event Center. The coronation will be at 6 p.m. followed by the ball games.
In a 31-52 loss to Morrison last week, Lady Buc Coach Kelsey Smith said it was “tough coming off of a two week stratch of no games when our opponent has been playing.” In the win over DCLA, she said, “the girls shared the ball well and played with a lot of confidence.”

Karlee Jacobs led all Lady Buc players with 10 points. Skylee Perkins had 8. Mikayla Myer, Emma Owen, Kenzie Glenny, Sydnee Jacobs, and Christony Martin (her first points) also scored.
