Birch: June 1. Elevation 22 ft. above normal, water 70s and murky. All the access to the lake is flooded the only way to get to the water is along the face of the dam. The road on the north side of the dam is still closed due to water being in the spillway. Channel, blue and flathead catfish slow on cut bait and worms along the dam. Carl Blackwell: June 3. Elevation rising, water 73 and murky. Crappie good on minnows, jigs and tube jigs in the main lake. Striped bass hybrids slow on crankbaits, cut bait, grubs, minnows and spinner-baits in the discharge, main lake and spillway. Report submitted by Emily Long, game warden stationed in Payne County.
Kaw: June 4. Elevation 33 ft. above normal, water low 70s and muddy. White bass, striped bass and striped bass hybrids fair on crankbaits, jigs, lipless baits and live shad below the dam, main lake and submerged islands. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on crawfish, cut bait, live bait, live shad, minnows, shad, shrimp, stinkbait, sunfish and worms below the dam, along flats, shallows and shorelines. Keystone: May 30. Elevation above normal, water muddy. Channel and blue catfish fair on chicken liver and worms around shorelines. Flood conditions continue at Keystone, water levels have fluctuated but are still extremely high. Some finding fish in flooded areas when water is rising. Fishing slow when water falls. Skiatook: June 1. Elevation above normal, water 60s and dirty. All boat ramps are closed as of 6 p.m. on June 1st. Sooner: June 2. Elevation above normal, water murky. Striped bass hybrids slow on live shad in the main lake. Saugeye good on crankbaits, cut bait and worms in the main lake.
