Tonkawa eighth graders punctuated their 2019 undefeated season with a 26-0 victory at Morrison Monday night.
It was the season finale for the midhi Bucs.
Dominic Grein got the game started on the right foot when he covered a fumble on the opening kickoff of the game.
Ryan Morgan followed that with three touchdown runs.
Morgan ran for scores from 12, 6 and one yard out. The Bucs were up 20-0 at halftime after Morgan also ran for the two point conversion. That final touchdown was set up on a 40 yard pass from Morgan to Lance Terrell.
The final Buc TD came on a two yard run by Peyton Keith late in the third quarter, upping the margin to 26-0.
Tonkawa posted wins over Newkirk, Perry, Blackwell, Pawnee and Morrison this year in their abbreviated season.
