Dayna Sheets wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Mark Martin. Third and $3 goes to Dawn McGaha.
Sheets and Martin both submitted perfect entries. Sheets wins first because she was only 33 points off the Memphis 50-49 win over UCF. Martin was 34 points off.
McGaha was 20 points off, but missed one game. Others missing one game but further off on the tie-breaker included Martha Parker and Mike Smith.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
