Football contest
Dawn McGaha of Tonkawa wins first and $10 in the Weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and $7 goes to Shelly Martin of Tonkawa. Third place and $3 goes to Tracy Summers of Tonkawa.
McGaha was the lone entry to miss two games.
Several missed three.
Martin got second because she was only 37 points off the final 14-47 Tonkawa loss to hominy. She picked the Bucs 34-30. summers was 40 off, picking Tonkawa 27-20. Peggy Neely also missed three but was 54 points off, picking Tonkawa 35-14.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
