Chuck Neeley wins first and $10 in the weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and third place tie for $5 each and go to Tracy Summers and Mark Martin.
Neeley submitted the lone perfect entry.
Summers and Martin were among four who tied with one miss each. Summers and Martin also tied in the tie-breaker. Summers, picked the Bucs 27-7 and Martin 34-12, both 14 points off the actual 28-20 Tonkawa win.
Others missing one game but farther off on the tie-breaker included Martha and Travis Parker.
The next installment of the contest appears on page 8 of today’s edition.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
