Football contest
Chuck Neeley wins first and $10 in the Weekly Tonkawa News Football Contest.
Second and third place money is split between Tracy Summers and Peggy Neeley at $5 each.
Neeley was the only entrant who missed two games. Several missed three, including the two who tied for second and third. The top two closest to the tie-breaker split the money. Summers picked the Bucs to win 28-14, 27 points off the actual 41-0 win. Peggy Neeley picked Tonkawa to win 30-20, 31 points off.
Others missing three but farther off on the tie-breaker included Travis Parker, Mark Martin and Dawn McGaha.
Entries should be submitted to The News office at 126 E. Grand by noon Friday each week.
Prize money is $10 for first, $7 for second and $3 for third.
Winners will be announced in the following week’s edition.
Entrants are urged to circle a winner for each game and fill in the tie-breaker score. Be sure your name is on the entry.
