Tristan Burdick, Nathan Anderson, Carson Robinson and Clay Massey won the top awards Sunday, Jan. 3, at the 2020 Tonkawa Buc football awards presentations held at the high school cafeteria.

Chris M. Lucas Memorial -- Tristan Burdick.
Joe Esch Memorial -- Clay Massey.
Jim Minor Memorial -- Carson Robinson and Nate Anderson.
Iron Man award -- Luke Shepherd.
Buc Up Award -- Kai Day
Swiss Army -- Jake Morgan
Scout award -- Peyton Keith and Dalton Pierce.
Blade award -- ryan Morgan
Impact award -- Jaidyn Guzman, Dominick Grein and Tyler Looper.
Distrct A-3 awards -- Tristan Burdick, Offense, MVP; Dante Mendoza, defensive lineman of the year; Clay Massey, outside linebacker of the year; Brendan Ochoa, punter of the year; and all-district honorees, Miccael Brown, o-line; Jake Morgan, d-line; Noah Campbell, linebacker; Jake Randall and Nathan Anderson, secondary; and Carson Robinson, kicker. Honorable mention alldistrict went to Gabe Summers, Fireshaker Davis and Dalton Harris.
Playoff medals were presented to each member of the team. Kirtley also recognized his coaching staff -- assistants Kurt Kirtley, Stony Fath, Kale Dice and Gage Martin -- and ball girls Jayden Ott, Karli Marler, Katy Frazier, Rylee Hampton and Reed Randall.
The 2020 Tonkawa football Bucs were 9-3 overall and second in District A-3. Two of their three losses were to eventual state finalists Cashion (champion) and Thomas (runner-up).
