For Dante Mendoza, Miccael Brown, Noah Campbell, Brendan Ochoa, Jake Morgan, Jake Randall, Kai day, Tuff Crosby and Chazz Slavens it was their final appearance at Buc Stadium last Friday night.Bittersweet to say the least.These seniors compiled a 37-12-0 record during their careers, making the playoffs three of their four years. Along the way they also won a district and state championship and finished second in District A-3 two years in a row, losing only to eventual state champion Cashion.“These seniors will be hard to replace,” Buc Head Coach Mike Kirtley said after finishing a second straight 9-3 season.“They were a really good bunch to coach. And they brought a lot of Buc excitement alive in their years here.“I wish we could have done better last Friday night, But Morrison was exceptional and we weren’t at our best, especially offensively when we lost Cam Jackson on the first play of the game.“I would love to play them again at full strength.”Kirtley said he would “definitely take this team against any and all comers in Class A. We as coaches were willing to stack them up anytime anywhere against anyone in Class A and we knew we would have a chance. I’m just sorry it’s over.”But the future looks really bright for the Bucs in the future.There were seven juniors and eight sophomores that saw lots of action this past season.Look forward to seeing these names next year to make more Buc magic:Juniors -- Jaidyn Guzman, Tyler Looper, Jadin Howard, Riley Coy, Braden Paker, Roman Çhandler and Cam Jackson.Sophomores -- Luke Shepherd, Dominic Grein, ryan Morgan, Peyton Keith, dalton Pierce, Landon Beliel, Cooper Braden and Isaiah Lively.Bucs finish 5thTonkawa’s Bucs finished fifth in the final MaxPreps poll this week in Class A.The rankings follow:1.
