The Bucs fell in District play to a talented Pawhuska team. The Buccaneers got behind early and were never able to challenge after going into halftime trailing by three touchdowns.The Bucs did try to fight back behind some tough running from Lucas Kieth and Clayton Lopeman but two early second half drives stalled and Pawhuska took advantage scoring 50 points to the Buccaneers 12. Kieth and Lopeman did each reach the end zone but too late to turn things around for Tonkawa.The Bucs enter an important stretch of four district games, having a good opportunity to keep playoff chances alive. Two tradition rich teams will meet on Buccaneer Field Friday night at 7 pm.
