Mike Kirtley said this week while preparing for this week’s road test at Tulsa NOAH.
Kick off is at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Broken Arrow Freshman Academy, 301 West New Orleans Street, Broken Arrow.
Both teams are 2-0 on the young season.
The Bucs have wins over class 3A Blackwell 36-34 and class 2A
Newkirk 41-0.
The Jaguars have beaten Oklahoma City Capitol Hill 55-0 and
Chouteau 72-21.
NOAH stands for Northern Oklahoma Association of Home
Schools.
Kirtley said the Jags will be in a spread offense and 3-4 defensive alignment. “They throw and catch and run real well,” Kirtley said, “And they’re putting up lots of points.”
A year ago, Tulsa NOAH finished 7-7 and took second place at the home school national championships.
Fred Sabatini is the head coach. He’s the son-in-law of College Hall of Fame coach Fisher DeBerry, 23 year head oach at the United states Air force Academy in Colorado springs, Co.
Sabatini played high school football at Craigmont high school in Memphis, TN and played collegiately at Western state Colorado University in gunnison, Co.
