Everything that was good against Newkirk the week before was bad against Perry.”The Bucs face their third straight Class 2A foe at Blackwell Friday night. Kick off is at 7 p.m.The Bucs are 1-1 and Blackwell is 0-2.Throw out the records though. It’s the annual Chikaskia River Showdown, after all.The Maroons dropped their opener to OKC Patriots 6-22, then fell last Friday night to Stigler 0-41.“They run a similar offense to Perry,” Kirtley said -- spread and multiple. “They have hardrunning backs and they are big across the front. Blackwell plays really good defense with a 4-4 alignment.”The Tonkawa-Blackwell rivalry was renewed in 2014 after a 30 year absence.
